- 10/01/2007 - Altaire to work with Sabre Systems to support U.S. Navy - Lakehurst
Altaire has joined forces with Sabre Systems, Inc. to support the U.S. Navy's NAVAIR system command in Lakehurst, New Jersey. Altaire will provide Program Management support and propose recommended courses of action and options to address programmatic issues with acquisition and other life-cycle support programs/ issues. Programs will include all systems as they pertain to fielded USMC aircraft Type Model Series as well as new aircraft programs such as the JSF, MV-22 Osprey and the MPF Future programs. Altaire will also support acquisition decisions and milestones that are required by DoD 5000 series guidance. Programs will include: M31 Arresting Gear, Light Weight Matting, Minimum Operating Strip Lighting Systems (MOSLS), Man Portable Lighting, Sustainment Lighting, AM-2 Matting and other PMA-251M sponsored programs.

-06/18/2007 - Altaire accepted into the U.S. SBA 8(a) Program
Altaire Consulting is pleased to announce that it has been accepted into the 8(a) Program. The 8(a) Program was begun in order to assist small businesses to better compete in the American economy and access the federal procurement market. The 8(a) Program offers a broad scope of assistance including the ability for its participants to receive sole-source contract up to $3.5 million of goods and services.
-05/03/2007 - Altaire receives U.S. SBA Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) certification
Altaire Consulting is proud to announce that it has received its official certification from the U.S. Small Business Adminstration as a Small Disadvantaged Business. The certification was made on May 3, 2007. The SDB certification is designed to help small businesses better compete in the American economy and the federal procurement market. Benefits of the SDB certification:
* Participants can receive sole-source contracts, up to a ceiling of $3 million for goods and services and $5 million for manufacturing.
* Federal acquisition policies encourage Federal agencies to award a certain percentage of their contracts to SDBs.
-04/23/2007 - Altaire wins spot on ITES-2S contract with partner Multimax, Inc.
Altaire Consulting, LLC, as a member of Multimax Inc.’s team, is proud to announce it was selected to support the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions - 2 Services (ITES-2S) contract (total value at $20 billion) awarded through Army Contracting Agency’s Information Technology, E-Commerce (ITEC) and administered by Army Small Computer Program (ASCP).
Services under ITES-2S include business process re-engineering, information systems security, information assurance, IT services, network support, systems operations and maintenance, program management, enterprise design, integration and consolidation, and education and training.
The Army, Defense Department and other federal agencies are authorized to order under the ITES-2S contract vehicle by issuing individual task orders.
